
Current Responsibilities
As BPM Practice Manager for The Pros From Dover, Inc., Mr Fellows is responsible for the BPM processes, tools, and training/course development used in TPFDI’s BPM and SOA engagements. He manages business and technical relationships between TPFDI and the Oracle Fusion 11 and TIBCO BPM communities. Mr Fellow also brings significant financial and business systems knowledge and experience, from design to implementation, in industries as diverse as entertainment, manufacturing, telecommunications and non-profit.
Past Experiences
- As VP and Chief Financial Officer for the Allied Jewish Federation, a $20 million non-profit fundraising organization with integrated foundation, Mr. Fellows led a complete systems transformation from early 90’s technology to state-of-the-art for 2003. He worked across teams to develop streamlined, high-performance processes to increase donor satisfaction and transparency, and help the organization achieve a 120% increase in revenue (and distributions) over five years.
- As Sr. Director of Solutions Design and Architecture at Qwest Communications, Mr. Fellows participated on engineering team that re-designed the development cycle for new product development, involving the business unit product managers, systems architects and the development teams. The work resulted in a formal corporate systems development methodology and supporting processes documented using multiple tools in multiple formats.
- As Sr. Director of Finance for Qwest Communications Information Technology pre-merger with US West, Mr. Fellows was responsible for the financial operations of a 1,000 person, $42 million annual budget business unit. He was involved in the finance and technology due diligence and IT execution strategy development for two major mergers; Qwest-LCI and Qwest-US West, and several smaller technology acquisitions.
- As Director of Information Systems at Universal City Studios, Mr. Fellows led a cross-functional team that designed and built the company’s first cross-platform system. He was responsible for the myriad of systems from mainframe to PC that were used to run 52 departments that operated the largest single entertainment production studio in the world. He led the design, construction and implementation of a then-state-of-the-art production billing system using data from all the existing systems to allow a production of any size to receive a complete, detailed billing of all services used across all departments within 24 hours of completing their work on the studio lot.
