
Current Responsibilities
As CEO for the Pros From Dover, Inc., Mr. Ericson is responsible for all operations of the company and acts as a team leader on assessment, jump start, and enhancement roadmap engagements when his specific skills and leadership are required. In his role of Chief Evangelist for the Pros From Dover, Inc., Mr. Ericson produces written publications, and delivers presentations at forums that expand the effectiveness of enterprise integration through Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA) and Business Process Management (BPM)
Past Experiences
- As the Principal System Architect at Level(3) Communications, Mr. Ericson was responsible for the design and implementation of their Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and for governing the enterprise service portfolio. In addition, he established the Model-Driven Architecture practice at Level(3).
▪ As a VP and Chief Architect at TelCove, Mr. Ericson created an enterprise level services oriented architecture and directed its implementation. He also purchased and managed the creation of a Rational Unified Process and Ration Team Unifying Platform based development methodology.
▪ As a Pre-merger Clean-room Advisor for Cingular in its acquisition of AT&T Wireless, Mr. Ericson was responsible for defining integration strategies and recommending systems and staff for retention and integration after the close date.
▪ As a Principal Architect at Qwest, Mr. Ericson created long and short term technical strategies and architectures for implementing end to end business processes using SOA technologies and strategies.
▪ As Director of Architecture at Virtela, Mr. Ericson stood up the core IT infrastructure, and was responsible for the definition and implementation of SOA and B2B strategies and implementations.
▪ As Director of Architecture and Development at New Edge Networks Mr. Ericson stood up the core IT infrastructure, and was responsible for the definition and implementation of SOA and B2B strategies and implementations.
▪ As Principal Consultant of Ericson-Traeger, Inc Mr. Ericson was responsible for distributed systems development at FedEx and was the integration lead for the MCI – Bank Of Mexico Avantel joint venture.
▪ Mr. Ericson has an additional 30 years experience in large scale DoD and telecommunications systems development and integration.
