Short Description:
This seminar provides an introduction to Business Process Modeling (BPM). Business Process Modeling is also called "the other BPM" since the acronym is also used for Business Process Management, a broader process and discipline of which Business Process Modeling is a part. Business Process Modeling is a discipline for describing, analyzing, organizing, optimizing and automating business processes. In this seminar, students will explore the context of Business Process Modeling within the Gartner Enterprise Architecture Framework and the current standards and best practices for performing Business Process Modeling. In this seminar, students will identify the symbols used in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN), how to use them and how to use a BPMN tool.
