Short Description:
This seminar will examine development methods based on Business Process Driven SOA using the TIBCO ActiveMatrix environment. High level coverage is given to developing, deploying and integrating services into composite and business level services including BPEL orchestration, human task work flow and legacy systems adaptation. Students gain insight on the purpose and functionality of mediation and marshaling, SOA security and governance, naming and registry management (UDDI), event driven processing and metadata repository management. Although the TIBCO BusinessWorks, iProcess and Activematrix development toolsets are used throughout this course the focus of the course is developing high level, SCA based composite services. With the focus on re-using SCA tools and pre-built components, there are no development language prerequisites.
